Girobank’s ATM’s are also chip card certified

Recently, Girobank introduced the new Girobank debit chip card.
This introduction required Girobank to also upgrade its ATM’s. For the ATM user this means that the operations have changed somewhat. It is very important to note that the new ATM reader will need to hold the chip card inside in order to read it accordingly.

We kindly ask the ATM users not to remove the card during transactions and to please wait until the systems indicated to remove the card. If you fail to comply with this petition you could either damage your card or the mechanism.
